The carnage continued from there as Tasmania fell to 5/25 after skipper Jordan Silk ran himself out, and they were eventually bowled out for 118 in 20.3 overs of their 22 available. Dwarshuis finished with 3 wickets, as did Sean Abbott, whilst Nikhil Chaudhary provided a late cameo for Tasmania scoring 31 off 24 balls. In the chase, Tasmania took regular wickets throughout the innings but were unable to dismiss Kurtis Patterson, remaining unbeaten on 52 and earning Player of the Match honours to cap off an incredible season for the captain on the day. Riley Meredith and Nathan Ellis both fought hard for the home side taking 2 wickets each, but Patterson's innings was too good for the small total they had set, with an extremely helpful cameo at the end of 20 off 10 from Joel Davies to put a dagger in the heart of the Tasmanians.
