Hello and welcome back to Blundstone Arena for day 3 of this Sheffield Shield clash between Tasmania and Queensland. Queensland were dominant in the field yesterday despite the shock withdrawal of Neser before the beginning of yesterday's play. They used their healthy first innings total to set aggressive fields all day and always looked threatening and unlike Tasmania, held on to some fantastic catches. Tassie crawled their way to stumps last night to be nine down and still 233 runs behind the visitors. Had Queensland had Neser available to share the bowling load, a follow-on would look a very attractive option. Only time will tell! Action to begin shortly.
64.6Steketee to B Webster0
Dot ball. Mark Steketee to Beau Webster. Length ball, defending, Played to silly mid on for no runs. And that's stumps on Day two which sees Tasmania finish on 9/146 with Webster and Bell at the crease, trailing by 233 runs. It was Queensland's day again after Tasmania fought back to keep the Queensland total manageable, Tassie threw it away with a poor batting performance, despite having extra batting depth in their team. Queensland are well on top in this contest. Be sure to join us tomorrow.
