Defending 131, the Scorchers started brilliantly as they dismissed both openers in the first two overs. Knight played a great knock for the hosts as she finished with 44 but didn't receive a lot of support from the middle and lower order as the Scorchers slower bowlers bowled beautifully and were backed up with some great fielding. The Scorchers now go two points clear in second spot while the Thunder sit at third on an ever-compacting table.
