The New South Wales bowlers took wickets frequently enough to restict Tasmania to 189, despite some late fireworks from the tailenders. No batter scored more than 32 in Tasmania's innings, while Adam Zampa had the best return of the bowlers, taking 3/45. Daniel Hughes was unsurprisingly named Player of the Match for his role in the Blues' bonus point win.
