The WA openers looked to have made it through the the tricky period at the end there until Rainbird knocked over Bancroft with what turned out to be the final ball of the day. With the hosts needing a win for a spot in the Sheffield Shield final they have no choice but to go for the runs tomorrow, so either way there's bound to be some action as Tasmania look to finish their season on a high. No early start tomorrow so we'll be back at the usual time of 10am WST for the start of Day 4, see you then.

The Sheffield Shield regular season comes to a close with Tasmania defeating WA by 175 runs in a dominant performance. The damage was done in the first innings, having been sent in to bat Tasmania posted 514 to all but end WA's Shield Final chances. The home side were never able to gain any momentum back during the four days and fell to their first loss of the season to finish third in the final standings just ahead of Tasmania in fourth. That means Queensland will host New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield Final starting on April 15th.
